What we do

What We Provide

Our goal is to provide help for Students with Special Needs, from minor processing delays to more advanced needs. We help your child become more successful. We specialize in helping children who have general learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, processing delays, autism, dyslexia, and giftedness.

Critical Thinking: From brain building logic and reasoning to auditory processing, your child will learn life-long study skills.

Science/Math:  From learning numbers through mastering calculus, we can help your child reach his/her full potential.

Language Arts: We start with the simple "ABC's" and work into reading comprehension and writing fluency.

Test Preparation: Standardized testing and ACT/SAT preparation. We will help improve your child's scores.

Summer Remediation: While participating in fun hands-on activities and splash play, your child will enjoy his/her summer and learn in a one-on-one or group setting that is fun and engaging.

Day Tutorial

Day Tutorial assists parents that have chosen to homeschool their children through tutorial services with tailored education for students 5-20 years of age.

Students receive small group or one-on-one instruction. Each student is placed on a learning track tailored to his or her needs.

Students receiving academic support at ACEE have tailored schedules ranging from 5-20 hours per week, depending on the tutorial assistance requested.

Preschool Jump Start

Specifically designed for children 3-5 years of age, this program includes elements of phonological awareness, phonology, and mathematics.

Phonological Awareness

Rhyming is a key part of phonological awareness, helping children recognize sound patterns and word endings. This skill strengthens their ability to hear, identify, and predict sounds in words, building a foundation for reading.

Phonology

Word blending and word structure

Simplistic patterned readings, such as consonant vowel consonant (examples: CAT, BAT, TAP, TIP)

Digraph reading patterns, such as (ch, sh, qu), vowel consonant (examples: Chip, Ship, Quit, Chop)

Mathematics

Development of early mathematics skills which focus on basic number recognition, one to one correspondence, and simple manipulative addition and subtraction.
